so all the sudden i log onto my name for xp and it says 'your password will expire in 14 days, do you want to change it now?' first off, what password? i never set a password in the first place. and second, why is it on for my lgo on name? i tired on my brothers, then my sisters, then my dad's, and it didn't ask for them to change their password on any of them, only mine. why is it doing this?

In the User Administration program there should be a setting for when a user's password expires (it's this way in NT/2k at least, can't be sure about XP, haven't used it). You should be able to go in there and remove the expiry date.
