This image is made up of 12 seperate infrared shots, merged and blended in photoshop. I would normally desaturate it... but the "false colours" thing seems to be prefered now...

Here's a screenshot of how it all went together (about 50 minutes behind the camera, then 4.5 hours of post-processing):

And here's a single frame shot I did outside my office:

    Leave me your thoughts! :)

sorry, i don't normally distribute higher res versions, as a lot of this stuff actually supplements my income. Thanks for the comment, though. :)

ah ok. i've just read in numerous places the digital rebel/xt's are not so flash for IR work without modifications.

you did that with a rebel? awesome!

Can you explain what you do for WB with the R72 on? When ever I try to custom WB my XT for IR the photos come out monochrome :S

how'd you make all the shots look like the same exposure? isn't that what the * button on the rebel is for?

    Beautiful shot mate!

Just a q, how come you couldn't just stitch this together in say a program like PTGui? What kind of troubles would you of ran into? Sounds like it was very time consuming in ps?

    Anyway lovely shots though.
