tommorrow i'll be detailing the shit outta my 98' civic ex. as you can see it's been a while since i've given the thing a proper scrubbing. i'm gonna work both the exterior (wash, polish, wax, etc) and interior (vacuum, vinyl, shampoo carpets, etc), so i'll be at it pretty much all day

p.s. - i'll post interior pics tommorrow (both before / after)

    EXTERIOR BEFORE:

What's hanging out of your pocket, man? :ugh: Also, you'd better compress them pics before Scott sees that shit. Either that, or don't expect him to comment.

You have a lot of work ahead of you, let us know how it works out! How'd your badges get all fucked up?

Hmm, I thought it was funny. Besides, I never get to use the :greddy: smiley.

Yeah, we're hitting the 90s already also. Since my car is black, as yours is, I can't do anything but wash in the sun. then it's into the garage for waxing. I'm hoping it stays overcast today so I can wax outside.

I like to get a tree or the house as a reflection in my pictures, not, say, my nipples. :wiggle:

you know, i used s100 the other day... i didn't really notice much difference between that and the old turtle wax i used. is it because my car is kind of a medium hue of bluish/grayish? dark cars shine better I guess.

oh and too bad you didn't do the same side pic in the before, cause then you could've totally seen the difference.

    mothers california gold car wash
dried with "the absorber" and "california water blade"
mother's clay bar applied to contaminated areas
mother's "back to black" applied to mirror trim
    s100 polishing cleanser
s100 wax ( applied as directed: one panel at a time then wiped off immediately )

    and voila!
