whats a good ratio in terms of your bodyweight vs bench, squat, and deadlift
this question needs a sticky too!
ya know, once we get a good answer..
bench 1.5x bw
squat 2x bw
dead 2.5x bw
Is the squat ATG or just a legal squat (top of thighs parallel)?
ugh im not even class 4
I'd be elite for a 181lb chick.
200 pounds and my 3=965, but thats before i started my diet and i had more strength, i dont even wanna know what it is now, so dont feel bad about your #s, ha im a weak pussy.
i'm never steadily light enough for 148 or heavy enough for 165. but my total's 40lbs over class 3 for 148 & 40 under for 165, so i guess that's about right if there was a class in the middle.
LOL I'm not even a class 4 woman.
true, class 3 in my weight class @ 220
Are you missing an arm?
maybe he's referring to SHW
edit: i'd be class 1 for a 148 lb chick
if I still squatted I'd be elite in the mens 148 class, hm.
1675... yeah,. that's looking good
I'm going to use the excuse of genetics. I just can't see how people physically can pull 700 lbs, 500 lbs is my goal right now and I can lift it maybe 2 inches of the floor. I personally don't think I'll ever be a good squatter or bencher (hip and shoulder problems)... how do people get around this?
20 pounds away from class 2 in the 198 category
you'd be proud to know that I am banned from ABCBBing. I kinda stopped caring right when I saw a post "Oh no I had 2 scoops of protein instead of 1 in my post workout shake"
I do think genetics play a huge role. Because strong joints are a key to lifting big weights.
I'm at around class 3 for my bodyweight...
I don't think genetics are as important as one would think stevo, i dont have good gfenetics at all, yet i am stronger than most of the guys i went to HS with who had good genetics. Louie simons would agree with this too.
close to class 2 @ 220, dropping weight or adding more to my lifts (~50) would net me class 2
Hm...I'm a noob. And im not sure how to use this. Do I add up my 3?
edit: LOL I get it now. I'm a class 4 woman. (Although I'm a 150lb guy.)
Class 2 weeeee
