Is the squat ATG or just a legal squat (top of thighs parallel)?

i'm never steadily light enough for 148 or heavy enough for 165. but my total's 40lbs over class 3 for 148 & 40 under for 165, so i guess that's about right if there was a class in the middle.

:squint: I'm going to use the excuse of genetics. I just can't see how people physically can pull 700 lbs, 500 lbs is my goal right now and I can lift it maybe 2 inches of the floor. I personally don't think I'll ever be a good squatter or bencher (hip and shoulder problems)... how do people get around this?

 you'd be proud to know that I am banned from ABCBBing. I kinda stopped caring right when I saw a post "Oh no I had 2 scoops of protein instead of 1 in my post workout shake"

I do think genetics play a huge role. Because strong joints are a key to lifting big weights.

I'm at around class 3 for my bodyweight...
I don't think genetics are as important as one would think stevo, i dont have good gfenetics at all, yet i am stronger than most of the guys i went to HS with who had good genetics. Louie simons would agree with this too.

close to class 2 @ 220, dropping weight or adding more to my lifts (~50) would net me class 2
