Hey today at the gym i tired out this thing, i dont know the name, but you put your arms over it and when u are standing doing bicep curls it prevents you from cheating etc. making you do it correctly. the string goes over ur neck, sorta like a halter top etc.

do you guys know waht this gadget is called? and how effective is it really?

    :wtf:

No one ever got big arms from doing that. The reason most people at the gym have small arms is because they need more curls.

I use it from time to time. It's effective at turning bar curls into concentration curls. It also helps build good form and technique that can be applied to other basic curling. Watch out; sometimes it pinches.

I'm always supprised how something as simple as a bicep curl can be so mutilated by the big "upperbody" boys in the gym.

I have one at home, it works well for concentration curls.
