do they get to bring their own guns?
Some of their rifles look like they slapped a barrel on a 4"x4".
They are badass though, I love watching it.
is that like a heartbeat moniter so the guy knows how hard he is skiing between shooting stops?
what do they shoot? link to buy them?
Most of them shoot .22LR.
Looks like it has none of these features, it is worthless
No LaRue, No gold.
That and a wrist mounted GPS.
would this fit my AR?
If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. Russian biathlons on regular stocks can be found.
.22 LR, used to be swedish Muaser in the olympics til the 70's.

leave canada out of this
Not on a rimfire
probably could get them to work somehow. i know someone with an ar-10 with the beveled glass sights. they weren't anschutz, though. i don't remember the brand.
more like 100 times worthless
or on a bolt gun
Picked up a biathlon basic at my local auction for 200 bucks. Highly recommend it. It is my favorite gun. Crappy finish, but otherwise a top notch firearm.
Now I'm going to have to buy a biathlon basic
mine is amazing, first trip out I tried 5-6 kinds of ammo: all groups touching at 25M, nickel groups at 50.
Imagine that... a gun that shoots well that isn't completely fitted in tacticool gear
