for all around purposes the PG Ti might eb your best bet, but I have heard good feedback on the DIamond, but I have not heard it myself, on the other hand the kicker will get loud for the money

I own a car audio shop that carries Diamond Audio and formerly Kicker. You are on the right track with the Diamond Audio, but my favorite is Treo Engineering for loud.

I'm sorry. There are a lot of people that have been getting turned on by the elemental design pieces lately. I just don't get it, they can't compare with some of the other brands, ie. Treo. Even with a system that has 4 Elemental 15's, it only hit a 149.2 in the back of a Yukon, however we have maxed two Treo TSi 15's at 150.1 for half of the cost. But good luck!

Flatcone line wasn't a fluke. My flatcone O series is perfect and i have never had any problems. Of course there were problems but not with me :)

yeah, I've got an e12o and it's an awsome sub. I've heard a lot of problems with them (cones comming un-glued, etc) but the general concensus is that is was an awsome sub if it didn't bite the dust.

the v2 gear looks great, too.

Resonant Engineering has some nice stuff.

I've got a JLw3 that is keeping me happy.

I would never ever ever ever ever never ever buy kicker. It gets insanely loud, but it sounds like poo.... what's the point of that?

many people just want to be loud. just personal preference. and the new l7's can actually sound decent if done right, but they are definetly geared more towards SPL along with many other brands.
