Working out.. gf is working out with me now; for fatloss, is it better to do 60 min of regular cardio or 15 min of HIIT?

Currently we do weight training 6 days a week with 15 min of interval shit on a bike or rowing machine, then at night she does 60 min elliptical or treadmill (at a normal intensity). Should those be switched?

i'd do 40-60 of moderate on your 2-3 heaviest lifting days, HIIT on the other days

Sorry, I only read the first part and blocked out the rest of the stupidity. Timing really doesn't matter IMO, just get the shit done.

Also, if you're lifting and doing 15 minutes of HIIT, you're doing something wrong. Either you're lifting like a bitch, or doing HIIT like a bitch.

im on my 4th week of HIIT and i have already seen results.

however...i would only recommend HIIT if you are already in pretty good shape.

HIIT Done right will fucking destroy you so you cant do it all the time. However, I don't see the need to do 60 minutes on the eliptical. Cut a few more calories here and there if the goal is weight/fat loss. If you are lifting 6X a week that shit is going to kill you
