best wireless router for media streaming?

    The D-LINK XTREME N GIGABIT ROUTER DIR-655 seems to be the common choice. Any reason you wouldn't go for that?

    thats the router i use for my home network but ive never streamed with it before really

    The router which i got in my home is of Linksys and it is also a good router for media streaming but the best i would say is the D-link routers.
