Best way to...

    I am not fat in any way, but over high school and first semester of college i have what most people call a beer belly.

    I don't have much time to work out with weights, so running is my best bet.

    I don't have a big menu to pick off of too, because i have little money and the frat i live in has a cafeteria with cooks.

    they usually make some sort of meat or pasta with steamed veggies.

    There is also a decent salad bar.

    My goal is to lose 15 lbs.

    The best running workout: sprints or long jogs?

    Either way your going to lose weight if you run/jog..... Your fraternity has its own cafeteria.... :eek4: Damn

    Id say just eat whatever they serve, just watch the portions.....PORTIONS IS KEY TO LOSING WEIGHT

    yeah just watch your calories and dont over eat and just run or jog for about a half hour a day and you should be fine.

    SO what your saying is don't eat until you feel full, just eat enough to be satisfied.

    Also, how many meals should i eat a day. i usually eat 2-3, more 2 than 3.

    Also, i eat alot of subway, is there something there thats recomended?

    If you eat at subway get like the turkey sub or something with lower calories. Go to www.subway.com and that tells you the nutritional facts about their sandwhiches. Dont go overboard on the condiments like mayo or dressings either. As for the portions just don't stuff your face with food and have just one helping of food. Eat like 4-6 smaller meals during the day so you dont get hungry.

    1.) Yes
    2.) I have 8 meals per day, i know its hard...but they are small meals... including pre/post workout meal. So 6 minus the pre/post
    3.) Wheat with Chicken breast, and whatever vegtables you want. I know its weird but i usually get the wheat with chicken, green peppers, red peppers, onions, lettuce, and tomato....

    Too much sodium, get the chicken breast, avoid the deli-meats...and

    :ugh: I had a problem with being in a fraternity and drinking, but now i just limit myself to 1 beer, and im fine for the night.

    deznutz only drinks once in a great while and he is in a frat.

    cavefish is also in a frat and he has cut back big time. :eek3:

    Its hard to limit alcohol...ESPECIALLY if you are in a fraternity.....Trust me.

    But since my tollerance is ....really low (like i can get wasted in 2 beers)....im fine with 1 beer like once a week.

    1 beer is only like 90 cals?

    Well props to them. Given the situation (people around me getting drunk) I probably wouldn't be able to resist. That's why I like to stay clear of any temptation. :o

    it'd be awesome to have an f&n meet with EVERYONE and just get wasted. boy what a fun/weird time that would be.

    purevl would murder pt and pt would show up with oats instead of beer.

    and the other half would be crying in a corner trying to comfort themselves over what gains they may of lost from getting crunk 1 night. :fawk:
