So I was on my macbook with my external hard drive connected when I accidently unplugged the usb cable. Now after I plug it back in 95% of my pictures on it are gone:wtc: Drive still works fine, anyway to recover my memories?:x:

    Wirelessly posted via wap.offtopic.com (Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MSIE 3.02; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320) BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

If you are in the middle of writing, this can cause issues and should be avoided. It is like just powering of your pc instead of shutting down, most of the time it'll seem fine but at some point you'll get screwed.

For this scenario SpinRite is the best option.

Enable this option on the drive and you won't have that problem again:
