    are you talking about the island at the bottom never moving when you scroll?

    if so, their css for the island div is this:

    div#island
    {
    height:257px;
    text-align:center;
    margin:0 auto;
    width:100%;
    z-index:99;
    }

    think the z-index of 99 basically makes that div always on top of everything, someone correct me if i am wrong since I am still in the process of learning

    add the div you want to float above, lets call it float and put these attributes in your css file:

    #float
    {
    position: fixed;
    bottom: 0;
    z-index: 100;
    }

    that should work

  4. ahh ok, yes that's what it could be. i know about z-index but haven't really messed around with the fixed position yet. thanks!

    no because it looks exactly as twitter, with some minimal changes (and an island).

    The only similarity I see between that and twitter is the clouds in the background - But even then, they're very different.
