Okay, so, I'd like to get some prints made of my recent airshow outing. ( http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=3967539 )

What sort of things are best to do, i havn't ever gotten digital high quality prints made before. Are there certain things to do in photoshop or otherwise to ensure high quality prints.

Is it better to use something like shutterfly, or one of those kiosk, i'm really at a loss.

1, load up the ones you want on a memory
2, send them on over to a lab
    3, sell to family
    4,? ????
    5, profit

    details?

Like, specifically, can i alter the colors in Photoshop frist before i put them on my CD or whatever, and what other things besides levels are a good thing to fiddle with to ensure good shots when printed

you could mess with levels and curves to make the colors stand out, make sure your monitor is calibrated, or at least adjusted as close to as how it would print

i have local labs i just walk into to get prints

other labs are specific for the work i need done

Ive never had to use a lab since I already have access to anything I need but I know a lot of people speak highly of White House Custom Color http://www.whcc.com/

Download and read the PDF from WHCC or just read the FAQ on their website.

Create account at walmarts website. upload photos. have them printed.
Anything other than 8x10 take somewhere else. Had good results.
