    I know I know. I shoulda bought a V8 and I wouldn't have this problem.

either way I am looking to gain a little power from my 06 dakota w/ the 3.7 V6.

Any thoughts on what to do. I hear that exhaust is more for sound and show than power, and intake sometimes doesn't do much.

what are your guys' thoughts on getting maybe another 20-30hp/tq.

More preferably Torque over HP though as this is a truck and tends to tow some trailers ~3,000-4,000lbs. It can tow them right now, but I feel that a little bit of added power might make running these trailers in the summer a little easier on the truck.

Thanks OT. Flame away, I'm sure it is to come.

the only "bolt-ons" that will get you power are gonna be along the lines of forced induction. supercharger, or the like.

and even then, it's not a good idea for a tow rig, imo.
