i'm using like 90% of my drive and I don't really ahve a lot of crap on it. My music is 13g, my photo's are 7g, and my apps folder is maybe 15g. Where the hell else is all my storage space being used at?

    Download Monolingual http://monolingual.sourceforge.net/
It'll remove all of the language files from programs that you don't need. Warning: if you have any problems later you'll have to reinstall the OS

It'll also remove unneeded architectures you don't need as well.

For me it freed about 1-2GB, maybe more I forget exactly.

like stated above, use monolingual to get rid of the language packs you don't need. (ie: everything except english and whatever language you speak), that'll free up anywhere from a 1-2 gigs of space.

delete everything in your printer folder, that'll get rid of probably another gig or so.

also, if you don't use garageband, get rid of the audio loops, that'll free up probably another 2-4 gigs of space. look up where it is, i forgot.

another easy one is to toss printer drivers for brands you'll never use (e.g. i will never own an epson ever again)

I still think monolingual fucked up my system. I can't specifically pin it on that but it's one of the very few things that I've installed that actually mess with the OS. And now it takes fucking forever to boot, and Office and Firefox take literally 90-120 seconds each to start up. I'm about to backup my shit and reinstall from scratch. :noes:
