Best Video Card

  1. What is the best video card out there right now, for an up-to-date motherboard?

    8x one basically...

    Nothing OVER 500 as well...

Both the Radeon and the FX fight for number one as far as paper numbers are concerned. One gets a few more frames in this game or that benchmark, then the other beats it at a different game or benchmark. When it comes to image quality, however, the FX just can't match the Radeon.

9800 pro requires a 300 watt power supply because you actually hook the card up to the power... :eek3:

    Mine is only 230 :(

my 9700pro has to be hooked up to the PSU also :) I don't mind. Powersupplys are cheap and in the end more power = better.
