Okay, so my New In 2 program is up on Oct.5 and I get a $100 credit towards a new phone and I will be signing up for a new 2-year plan, so I wont have to pay too much for a good phone. Im mainly looking for a good camera, V-Cast, mp3 playable (not necessarily needed), and can be modded. Ive been looking at the VX8100, which looks like a really sweet phone, and at the VZW store around my house, it will only cost me about $50 to get it with the $100 credit and the new 2-year plan... I was also looking at the E815, which also looks like a pretty cool phone. I havent looked at many other phones, so any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

holy shit... vagabond and kungfuwoo agreed on something. :eek4:

I would probably go with the 815 as well. If its between LG and Motorola then I would go with the Motorola. I was never that impressed with LGs support or features.

    Skurry huh.

Jerm and Camaudio both got them and they're happy. I'll like them more once they get the bluetooth un-crippled.

    HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Verizon will be carrying their version of Sprint's 940. Same stuff as the 815 and this phone:

    http://product.samsung.com/cgi-bin/nabc/product/b2c_product_detail.jsp?eUser=&prod_id=SPH-A800&redirect=yes&prod_path=Phones+and+Fax+Machines%2fWireless+Phones

But will be in a flip phone. Not sure when it will be released for them however. Also, Sprint's version will be uncrippled but I don't know about the Verizon's one.

The Sprint version is 2 weeks away and I can't really see the Verizon version that far behind, if at all.

Its about time that vzw replaces their samsung lineup, they've been selling the a670 for quite more than a yr now.

I personally liked the LG more, because I have had the VX4400 for almost 2 years now and its gone through soooo much crap and still works flawlessly. But if it agreed upon for the 815, I might as well do that, esp. since people have said they liked theirs. Thanks

I love my LG VX8100. I can fit about 15 full Family Guy episodes on the 512 mini SD card. The build quality is a step or two above the Motorola for sure, and I like the LG menu system alot more than Motorola's. They are both good phones though.

I've been looking at the VX8100 too. It seems to have all the features I'm looking for. You get a good deal on it?

I agree. The VX8100 also was upgraded this week and the MP3 player works like a beauty. It also fixed a lot of the other little problems that happen when a phone is first released. Much improved.
