What is your favorite umbrella and what size?

I am looking at getting a 60" but is that to big for shooting with a single SB-600 ?

I use a photek softlighter 60, and used to put two SB800's in there.
I now use a single AB1600 with the diffusion panel in place.

Single Sb600 might be a little low on power, unless you put it up close.

But if you're going to do that, you can just put a reg. 45" up close and the apparent size will be similar anyways.

The 60" are more suited to groups or larger areas. You can also flag it off to get a longer striplight look to it.
