I've used the crest strips before, and while they did an OK job, I would prefer that it covered all of my teeth rather than just the front few. Has anyone used the over-the-counter whiteners that use the 'tooth trays', and if so...which brand did you like?

    Thanks!:)

those rarely work as intended, you should get yours done by a professional, I got 2 shades lighter with the peroxyde/laser system...it is not cheap at $150 per session and your teeth will be noticeable more sensitive but the results are amazing :big grin:

my teeth became amazingly sensitive just from using the stupid crest strips... does that mean the laser treatment will kill me?

I had to stop using the crest strips cause it hurt so bad =(

I despise the tooth tray things. They make you build up so much spit while you're waiting to rinse.

I just throw away the trays and use the whitener to brush after actually brushing my teeth. Works great...

:ugh: why the fuck is this in the homosexual forum? :squint: :slap:

Might as well post it in the broly, TV, or firearms forums, as that'd make about as much logic as posting it here.

you're crazy, right? or joking at least...

anything above 16% tears your enamel off your teeth...and it's supposed to be done for 30 minutes a day MAX for a few days...

35% for 2 hours a day? Say bye to your teeth!

Maybe thats how such a drastic change has been noticed so quickly.

actully the directions said that you could wear the trays overnight w/ the 22% solution-which is only 6% HCL, i dont think an hour w/ 35%-9% hcl is too harmful, my teeth havent become sensitive and my gums are fine as well... there is so much conflicting info out there, link me to where it says 35% is soo harmful, im scurred nowm :noes:

i just read a bunch of stuff on teh internets, i hope i havent doe irreversible damage, im on the 5th day and the first 2 days i did the 35% gel twice a day for 30 mins, didnt notice any irritation so days 3-4 i wore them an hour twice a day, i guess thats not good, im going to just wear the 22% for 30 mins a day now, dont want to do any harm to my teeth, im going to use a little of the remineralization gel today too, hopefully thatll help

You know, the sell some pretty great fluoride treatments over-the-counter... I do a lot a whitening, and have never had sensitivity.

I have a horrible reaction to flouride, I once had it at the dentist and was throwing up the rest of the day.

It amazes me that people are so blatantly ignorant. "Normal manly men" What the hell does that mean?

:ugh: ...I had to catch myself; I almost replied "remind me never to dip my dick in fluoride first..."--then I remembered the platonic nature of our relationship.

i apologize for that statement, do you not feel that gay men care more about thier appearance than heterosexual men? Most stereotypes find thier basis in fact, like i said, its just a personal opinion.

I think that more gay men care about their appearance than straight men but the assumption that all gay men are obsessed with their looks is ridiculous.
