bj looked amazing...but i knew hughes strength and size had to wear down bj one way or another...it especially saved him in resisting the armbar imo

Penn just needs to go to 155 and dominate. I think with his popularity he could be fighting the winner of the florian v sherk fight pretty quickly especially with the pulver loss tonight.

and btw, GSP is not nearly the bjj practioner or striker BJ is and I dont think he will have much more success then BJ did.

I totally agree. I was very happy to see a good fight. I honestly thought BJ Penn would take it, especially after seeing how flexible he was.

Awesome fight i would have liked to of seen BJ win witht he rubber legs but he can only blame him self for not training enough for that fight, with energy he had that easily.

I was really amazing watching BJ fight. If he would have had better cardio it looked like Hughes would have had no chance at all. It's a shame.

overall, bj was a better fighter on the ground and standing up, bj should've took the fight. cardio killed him. he can only blame himself for not training hard enough for the fight. i didnt mind who won or lost, because im a huge hughes and penn fan.
