I looked at the sticky's and they really don't go into it. What do u recommend that I can buy at auto zone type stores. I really don't want it to "sling" stuff on my car and I do not like gels because it cakes itself on the wheels. Please help.

I saw the low shine on clearance at target and got a couple bottles. I like it on the exterior trim on my car

I have some Meguiars gell stuff that smells like grape... :o Actually works really well and gave me the look I have been looking for. Plus it seems pretty durable.

I use the original shine stuff, but it isn't super high gloss, more of a satin sheen. Seems pretty durable for a water based dressing.

I like Meguiars Hyper Dressing too, but I have a problem with a building up on my regular customer's tires.

Mix pure silicon with Armor all. This is what I used when I had my detailing biz and it worked great. The silicon will stay on the wheel for a longer period of time due to the armor all, and the silicon will give it that nice shiny look. Use a sponge or applicator to apply the mixture.

It lasts a couple washes for me, but I usually apply more before it's gone anyway. It's on the high end of durable for a water based dressing. For the Canucks here they have it on sale at CT right now for like $2.99 a bottle. I usually apply it with a plastic bag for folks who want a bit more sheen.
