I've got a Marlin .22mag bolt action rifle and am looking for a good multi-power scope that is moderately priced (I don't want to spend more than $400 if possible). Any help or leads?

Do you have one? Is that true that you can focus down to 10yds away?

As much as I hate to say it, I'm a Tasco fan when it comes to .22's.

They've never failed me on .22's. I don't shoot in low light, so, IMHO, the need for high-dollar optics is out. Clarity isn't bad and focus is set by a ring on the objective tube. Get it to where it needs to be, and it's set.

I'll save my money for glass on hunting rifles.
