How was dinner?
I put it on FB
interview at the end was awesome. Really an inspiration to stick to what i'm thought instead of going out and searching millions of instructionals that overcomplicate things
Exactly. Personally as funny as it sounds, that decision was the biggest turning point in my game.
That's why i am all at this video. I admittedly do not know a ton about Roger or BJJ compared to most but he appears to be dominating with stuff i learned in the first 6 months of jiu jitsu. Just incredibly sharp technique.
His reversals are insanely smooth.
That's what seems the most impressive about it to me. It's just another reason to keep on drilling the things you learn really early on into the ground.
Roger teaches in London. Braulio teaches in Birmingham. It sucks that i live too far away to go to either
Chechen.....thanks for the video........He is my favorite......
But it's so fun learning crazy weird shit. Roger keeping it old school
smashing somebodys fancy guard with the good ol' knee through is way more satisfying than some crazy move that requires 20 steps.
Ahhhh I had to watch this before I go to class tonight......Want to try something I saw.....
its all fun though.
If Roger went 100% he would destroy Rickson.
i'm pretty sure. My coach trained with Rickson and he said technically he's the shit but when they rolled his speed and strength gave him that edge.
I saw Rickson train a little with some really, really, really good guys. He's fucking 50 years old for christ sake.
Rickson by armbar
sorry couldn't help it
Exactly. He's human.
why the ?
thats the same thing i said
to the remark about him being good because he's strong, not you.
no what i meant is that my coach was able to beat him because he had the technique and the speed and strength. Rickson has technique but is 50 years old like you said, he's not some superhuman grappler
