Best registry cleaner/optimizer?

    Topic says it all. I'm in the market for one and willing to pay for a good one. I would prefer one that backups, cleans, and optimizes the registry. Anything else is gravy!

    you do NOT want that. If your reg is that fucked up, then you want to format, anyway.

    Nothing wrong with the registry specifically. But guaranteed theres a lot of unused crap in there due to install/uninstalling programs, etc.

    well is it so bad as to say you want to format?

    Otherwise, leave it alone. Cleaners have a reputation of either rendering the system inoperable, or simply not helping.
