A&P Best price on Canon EF 50mm f/1.4?

    I might be insane, but I remember a long time back seeing it listed somewhere for under $100.

    I was going to ask what the big diff is (I'm still fairly new to the DSLR game) but found this:

    I really like the 50 1.4 USM and 85 1.8 USM for cheap but great EF lenses.

    they're only about $300 a piece new

    The 1.8 is dirt cheap I got it on b&h for about $60 I see the 1.4 for $250-300

    i love my 1.4 is an awsome lense for walk aorund i bring the 50 and the 28-135 and im happy, 70-200 is to dam big for a wwalk around the prime macro is ok but i prefer the 50
     
  8. i scooped up a 1.4 for 290 like new with hood. :coold:

    maybe 1.2L later on if this lens gets alot of use.

    I think I paid $315 for mine, shipped. $20 rebate that hasn't shown up yet. :o

    Cheapest I've seen f1.4 is $270 shipped with e-coupons... f1.8, buy used for $50 and be on your way.

    I'll sell mine that's BARELY used, not a scratch on it for 250. I'm in the market for an ultra wide lens.. maybe even fisheye
