What is the best, most reputable place to buy replacement laptop batteries and AC/DC power adapters for laptops? I have a Dell Inspiron 1505, and don't feel like shelling out 120 dollars for Dell's shit on their website.

Most of them don't work, or fuck your equipment because they aren't made for it.

    I'd go to Ebay...

I bought a second power adapter for my M1210 for less than half the price from Dell. It was the same exact adapter, matching part numbers and everything.

Or check out gotapex.com or slickdeals.net for a Dell accesories coupon. They come around once in a while.

I wouldn't get anything other brand than who made the machine.

x2 (or are we on 3) for ebay. Batteries are always a crapshoot... but i've gotten power adapters from there that work fine, and are real brands, not offshoot crap.

    www.batteries.com

I've bought batteries, both OEM and aftermarket, for over a dozen laptops from this site and I've never once had a problem of any sort -- not even late shipping.

If you need RAM, on the other hand, check out www.oempcworld.com. They can tell you exactly what kind of RAM will fit your prebuilt machine, and they (obviously) can sell it to you as well. The prices are pretty decent.
