Best place to buy a powerbook online?

    Is macmall any good? what do you guys suggest. Im normally a PC guy but im thinking about a 12" even though I like the features and monitor (but not the overall size and weight of the 15")

    I'm not a student, nore a developer. I have my old student card from U of P from may 2004. Im graduated now, can I still sneak it in?

    you dont have to develop anything. as for the student status you have to fax in a copy of a schedule. i'm sure you could fluff the dates if you needed to

    what do you have to do to become a developer? how much does it cost vs savings? im thinking about getting a 15inch PB

    it depends on what level you select. the link below will explain the costs and benefits. the discount alone is worth the price of the student discount. i save ~$400 on my powerbook b/c of it

    on the right side it says "apple membership programs", just click on where it says learn more for that specific level and it will tell you the cost and the benefits.

    Go with the 15" Powerbook. I had a 12" PB and exchanged it for a 15" and do not regret it one bit. It is bigger, but fits nicely in my Timbuk2 bag and it doesn't really weigh that much more than the 12".

    it looks like it costs $500 to join, and you get more than that it savings. but i already get a student discount, so it doesnt make sense for me to join. with the student discount i get like 200 in savings. with the developer thing i get like 500 in savings, but i still have to spend 500 so it makes more sense to just go with the student discount

    What do they go by for the savings with that account? Is it a set percentage or is it a set amount of money?
