I graduated in January and have been working full time since. For lunch I'll usually go to Quick Check and order a sub, go to a restaurant and order a chicken ceasar salad with balsamic, or get sushi.

I'm curious as to where you guys reccomend eating during lunch that is healthy?

I don't want to bring my own food because I want to actually get out of my office during my lunch break.

    Any suggestions?

I eat 4 meals at work and "work" while eating. I go to the golf course or to the greenway and walk for my lunch hour.

not everybody works at a place where they can eat while they work.

Why not bring your own stuff and eat it outside? That's always nice and plus you don't have to worry about restaurant tricks to make food taste good (i.e. transfats, generally bad stuff added, etc).

If not, grilled chicken from subway etc seems to be the next best bet. Any sub shop should do just get some whole grain bread and some lean meat (tuna salad usually has a lot of mayo). Skip the soda and chips and you're good. I like to double up on the meat to keep the protein high.

My office complex doesn't have outside seating, and I don't think its very professional to just sit on the curb, so outside eating isn't really an option.

As for the chicken, I normally get the Cool Ranch Chicken (double meat) from quick check. I just never know whats in those items, so it always makes me a bit :ugh:.
