As the title says. I need some ammo to shoot my SKS. It's been too long:wtc:
My local sporting goods store used to have boxes of 20 for $1.99 which was an absolute steal. They've been out of stock forever though so I need to find another place to buy it. Everywhere else local is $3.99 for a box of 20 which seems like a rip off... especially since I can shoot 20 rounds in less than a minute if I really want.:bigthumb:

So where are you guys getting good deals on it?

    Thanks.

I haven't seen any good deals. my local shop finally got in some wolf (the military classic) so I bought a case, just because I wanted to shoot my ak. Sadly, haven't gotten a chance to try any of it yet.

The best places for deals around here would be surplus ammo at the gunshows. The guys that have the cheapest are the ones that sell nothing but ammo. Theyll have 3 or 4 tables stocked with anything you can think of and they buy in bulk, and the ammo is cheaper than in shotgun news even before the shiiping you would have to pay in there.

It's $124.99 per 1000 at Midway. That's still one of the better deals that you'll find. The best I've been able to find locally has been around $150.

    Have fun finding any. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/mai...rms22.xml&sSheet=/news/2006/05/22/ixnews.html
The Daily Telegraph can disclose that Pentagon chiefs have asked arms suppliers for a quote on a vast amount of ordnance, including more than78 million rounds of AK47 ammunition, 100,000 rocket-propelled grenades and 12,000 tank shells - equivalent to about 15 times the British Army's annual requirements
