Title pretty much says it all. I'm looking for OWB holster recommendations for my G19.
What do you want it made out of? Kydex, leather?
Preferred material? Retention? Price range?
I like the Raven Concealment holster so far.
I have a Galco Concealable for my G19 and a some Don Hume 721s for a few of my guns. Both are similar in design and construction and very well made, but the Don Hume is half the price. MSRP is $50 and they can usually be found for $35 or so.
Both of mine are open top like this, but they are both available with a retention strap as well. I have Don Hume 721s for my P220 and P226. I can conceal a fullsize P226 in that holster with just a loose t-shirt.
Nope, they are molded for the firearm and even though they don't have a reinforcement of any sort, it is rather thick leather and they hold their shape without problem. One hand reholstering is no problem.
I can take some actual pictures when I get home if there is anything in particular you want to see.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm still undecided on kydex vs. leather. The TT Gunleather OWB holster looks nice. A little spendy but may be worth it.
I've got a safariland for a G19 I don't want (as I purchased an M-TAC). It looks like the Don Hume that Phoenix posted, except it's black and the glock barrel pokes out of the bottom. If you want pics or want to pick up a cheap used one, PM me.
Thurner is superb quality.
I PM'd you with some pics.
he said best.
