I've been running a 101+ fever for like 3 days now and now I have a great cough that is keeping me up at night. Also, I want to go out to dinner with the girl for her birthday and I'd like something that can make me seem alive for a while while I do it.

Also have horrible head congestion and a headache. Puked the first day but that's over with.

    Fuck this shit

I usually stick with dayquil and nyquil.
They usually work pretty good for me. For getting a fever down IBprofen works the best (for me at least).

Everyone I know is getting sick and it sucks. It's just a matter of time before I get it.

I've been taking emergen-C, daily multi, green tea extract, vitE every single day to prevent it, but it just seems like a losing battle.

Fever can be reduced using Ibuprofen (Advil) or Acetominophen (Tylenol).
    Nyquil contains Acetominophen.
IMO, take a shot of nyquil and 400mg of ibuprofen.

This is what I usually use and Advil for pain but I try to avoid it.

Kroger brand sinus with acetominophen. 2.5x normal dose I felt like I wasn't even sick anymore.

I think it's just the flu that everyone and their brother has right now, I was sick with something else... took a week off and was so happy to get back into the gym I guess I overdid it and man this hit me like a ton of bricks.

 to anybody also sick and not able to train.

I'm glad I pinched it off as soon as I woke up or I'd have pissed the bed for the first time in 20 years

Is that a common side effect?
