I have those ones. Great padding, but like most strap shingaurds the tend to turn. That's why I also have and usually use CSI Grappling shingaurd, though they have about half the padding in the center as the Fairtex Pro's.

i have the fairtex pros and i love them. They do turn a little, but in all honesty, they are turning due to user error. If you check every kick with the correct part of your shin and kick with the correct part (and partner does the same) then you wont get shifting. that is pobviously impossible 100% of the time, so i readjust about 3 times a day, no big deal at all.

I am 5'10", very average build, and I wear the larges. I could easily wear mediums, but i ordered the larges just to be safe. They come up exactly where they are supposed to, straps have good placement, etc...

either will work fine for you though.

i personally suggest against the twins ones. had those and hated them, i like having the extra movementaround my instep.

I don't use them for just muay thai, but I throw my hat in for the CSI grappling shinguards, I love them for every application. best fitting shinguards ever.

nice, and fairtex is a good company, i love that they dont shaft you on shipping chares, if anythign they undercharge.

if you can you should pick up a pair or two of their handwraps, for only $10 they are awesome. sounds dumb, but i cant use any other ones now.
