Alright well, I just moved up to school and tried to start up my computer, nothing loading just sitting there and sending nothing to the monitor. :noes: So I take it apart to look at it, put it back together, now the motherboard is making a loud whistling noise which if I remember correctly means its toast. Now.... I need to buy a new motherboard to replace my old one, I had a MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum nForce3 Ultra blah blah balh

My other stuff in my computer is a Geforce 6800GT AGP video card
    AMD 3500+
    DDR400 184pin Ram (1 GB)
    200 GB 7200rpm SATA HD
    80 GB 7200rpm IDE HD
    Audigy 2ZS PCI Sound Card
    and this Tower

I want to be able to use all of my old parts as I don't have any money for new stuff. Anyone have a suggestion of what Motherboard to get? I'm probably ordering off of newegg unless someone else has a better suggestion, I kinda want to get this stuff ASAP so I can actually stop using my laptop that i have been using all summer

Thanks, I actually found my old Mobo on there and might just buy that... although its even more expensive now than when I bought it on newegg in december. They don't sell it on Newegg anymore...

I wish I could get an SLI Mobo but as far as I have seen the only SLI are PCI-e and not AGP which my vid card is =/

EDIT: I just found one of the SATA ports sitting at the bottom of my case with part of the circuit that goes in it broken off and still stuck in it... thats probly the problem and goodbye mobo :sadwavey:

Asus always makes solid motherboards. This would work with all of your current components.
