okay so i use firefox for everything, and i have IE and Opera installed, and I do these online surveys(pinecone research) and half of the time it always tells me to use IE, and i refuse to install IE because it is so old and ugly. i need something that is going to run full java or something, i dont know why i have problems with firefox and opera

Firefox 2.0 crashes cleanly, and restores to the state you were in. Check it out.

    Safari deviates from standards too.

I have been using Firefox 2.0 and Safari. FF locks up on the regular and pisses me off but I like it when it's actually working. Safari is much more stable and loads noticeably faster, but there are some things that I wish were on that browser that is on FF. Kinda sucks. I want my cake and to eat it too. :hs:

I would use Flock if it had folders in the bookmarks bar because it is by far the slickest browser IMO.

Safari and Omniweb. I don't really use OW as i've got everything stored in Safari.. but i've enjoyed using it in the past. I really dug the graphical display of tabs, too.

I think conventional wisdom is that no one browser will do it all, unfortunately.
