best method of putting xvids on dvd?

    in particular, it's a series, so id like to put more than one xvid on dvd. i will have to transcode or whatever because my girlfriend's dvd player doesnt support xvids

    i'm guessing imovie? if each show is 22mins long and about 180mb, how many do you think i would be able to pack in on each single layer dvd-r without ruining the quality?

    it does work nice, i think i might take the iso it makes, then put it in my windows machine so i can have nero vision make a menu.
