yo what up new to the comic book shit on OT never bothered to really look

    so yeah

i liked the civil war graphic novels and shit, just ordered marvel zombies, got living dead, but that's image, fall of mutants was pretty good, and i'm just looking for some good preferably older comics, cause i'm not a big fan of the ultimate comics and the new shit

graphic novels are mostly what i buy these days instead of single issues.

as for marvel, here are the best ones in my collection:

-Spider-Man Reign (easily the best SM book i have ever read)
    -Spider-Man Kraven's Last Hunt (great!)
    -Wolverine Weapon X
    -Marvels
-House of M (quite a bit better than Civil War, i would say)
    -Marvel 1602
-Earth X (worth a read but the story is disjointed at times. could have been 1/2 as long, in my opinion)

I consider most listed as TPB rather than an original graphic novel. Death of Captain Marvel was one of the first and still the best.

    Yeah, TPBs aren't graphic novels.

I've read most of them (either in actual paper or CBR/CBZ format) and I liked the following:
    1- Death of Captain Marvel
5- X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills
    24- Daredevil: Love and War
33- Thor: I, Whom The Gods Would Destroy
    39- The Inhumans

If you want a really good zombie book, pick up The Walking Dead from Image. As for Marvel stuff, the Punisher Max stuff is good, along with a lot of stuff mentioned in this thread already.

The numbering seems to suggest a list of some kind?

    Link to list?

Not familiar with the other 3, but X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills is definitely number 2 in my book. Loved Brent Anderson's work there too. X-Men 2 would have been even better if they just totally followed the Graphic Novel.

The X series is very good, though a little confusing at times. It's a very good take on the Marvel universe, and the art is pretty good. I borrowed it from a friend of mine and finished the whole series in three days. Definitely worth the time, in my opinion.
