I've used 1and1, but I don't get much traffic. I have an idea though that'll hopefully take the fuck off, and I haven't heard good things about 1and1 traffic wise.

Top # of webspace hosts used by ot'ers.

    Thanks.

P.S. If I buy a domain from one company, for example 1and1, I can transfer that to another company, say Hostamina? Thanks again.

ive heard good stuff from bounceweb plus its cheap as hell for OT.

otherwise look at liquidweb or rackspace. rackspace to me is pretty much the ultimate host but consequently the most $$$

Shared for now I guess. Once, the clients get bigger though, w/ more traffic, I guess I'll be needing dedicated. But shared for now is good. I don't know the differences between the two though, I'm just assuming more processing power or memory or something like that.

I just started hosting with Webzpro http://www.webzpro.com/
Everything seems good so far. Support is quick and helpful. They host out of Atlanta, GA & Dallas, TX (at The Planet) Servers at The Planet are being migrated to new equipment though, so they won't put you there for right now.

My old host was starting to suck, servers overloaded, my sites were down all the time. (shared, too cheap for dedicated)

I talked to Swift and he hooked me up proper. I had to transfer my site and he helped me every step of the way, support tickets were answered literally less than 5 minutes after I sent it. My old host took at least 12 hours to respond, and most of the responses you can tell English wasn't their first language. :mamoru:

    /shameless plug for Bounceweb :wavey:

I'm sure if I requested it, he would have called me to help me out.

With the OT discount, his prices are really competitive. And it applies for the lifetime on the account. Speeds are fast too, way better than my old host.
