    I'm curious to see what everyone thinks are the best hiphop albums of all time, I'm making this thread in light of all the boring hiphop that has come out of late so I might become better acquainted with albums i've yet to hear and because i'm curious about the underground hip hop scene that I'm sure some people on here dig.
    I would choose:
    Mobb Deep- The Infamous
    Talib Kweli And Hi-Tek- Train Of Thought
    Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Cappadonna- Ironman
    Blackstar-Blackstar
    Notorious BIG- Ready To Die

    two questions, is ressurection better than "like water" and is the kool g rap cd toooooo old school?

    yes i think Ressurection is Common's best effort, although Like Water for Chocolate is a great LP in its own right


    and no that G Rap isn't very old school IMO at all, at least lyric-wise it isn't, remember G Rap was basically a Queens Rakim, probably even a little more complex lyrically.

    So basically the production is old school but the lyricism is far more advanced than any but a few rap artists to ever do it.

    it took me so long to actually enjoy this album. it was just too goofy at first.
