EW picked the 50 best high school movies, but I hate their rankings. what are yours?

    1) Fast Times At Ridgemont High
    2) Better Off Dead
    3) Risky Business

The Breakfast Club is great and deserving of # 1. I dont know about Mean Girls or Clueless being so high on the list... would probably replace them with other classics like Back to the Future and The Karate Kid.

I didn't want people to be influenced by EW's ratings. If it was a really good teen movie, you should remember it easily.

And are teen movies of a different generation as good?

I like American Graffitti even though it wasn't my generation.

"Fast Times at Ridgemont High", definitely what high school (for me anyway) was like in the early and mid 1980's.

    "American Graffiti"

I'm surprised a lot of those movies are on that list considering they really dont deal with highshool much.

I like Lean on me too. I didn't 'see that on the list. It probably should be considering almost all of the scenes are in a highschool atmophere. Plenty of those movies rarely show them at highschool.

That movie is underrated. I really wanted to make a pirate radio station in high school.
And then at my college radio station, only about 8 people listened to my show so it was almost like pirate radio.

It had some of the best line's of any of the high school movies.
