I want weekly reviews of all the new releases each week. I don't care about previews, forums, all the other bullshit.

Where can I find a site that just reviews everything? I check 1up, ign, but it seems like a lot of releases fall through the cracks.

So where the hell should I go?

i used to go to gamespot, but these days they seem really biased and paid off in interest of developers. same with ign...its really hard to find good reviews so i usually try to get a hold of demos or listen to what other people have said about the game :hs:

giantbomb.com, although there editorial staff is rather small and don't get around to reviewing a lot of smaller games.

I look at IGN and Gametrailer's reviews. But I prefer to play demos to make my own opinion.

    I use metacritic.com

Then read further if a game sound half way interesting and got a reasonable score.

    Gametrailers and IGN.

I usually don't buy a game unless it hits a 9 on both sites.

That being said, I deeply regret my purchase of GTAIV

you can't really trust any site anymore. ive bought games that got as low a 7 and immensely enjoyed them and bought games with higher scores and hated it.

I wait until a ton of reviews have been compiled...and then look at the average.

Then I pick out 3 or so reviews from the highest and lowest scores and skim through to get the gist of their review.

If it's a genre I'm not all that keen on - I'll try the demo out. Otherwise as long as it has an average above 80% and I am a fan of its predecessor I'll probably buy the game regardless.
