    What's the best free ad-blocker for IE7? I don't want to use a HOSTS file, and I don't want to use IE7pro.

I want it as good as IE7pro but only a standalone ad-blocker.

Can't you install IE7 Pro and just use the ad-blocker function?

They gave an explainantion for those updates. Has nothing to do with IE7 anyway. They sent those updates through silently because something to inform users of updates (whether you turned off auto-updates or not) wasn't working so it had to be sent through. Plus they've been sending stealthy updates like that since XP many times despite your update settings, its nothing new.

Anyway, IE7 owns  (so there!) and IE7pro's latest release gives me an error after installing and crashes explorer.exe. So I was looking for a temporary alternative.
