What forums do you guys check for buying camera gear? I'm trying to find a canon-mount Tammy 17-50 f/2.8 VC-less, but I just can't find any, and when I do...they're sold within minutes of being listed. I'm checking compulsively too.

    So far, I've been lurking

    PoTN
    Keh
    FredMiranda
    Craigslist

Any others I should look into or do any of you know someone trying to sell their 17-50?:wtc:

Post a wtb on FM, im sure you'll find something fairly quickly.

Hate dealing with people on potn, all I ever get are tire kickers

I really don't want to spend more than 350, and they're usually listed on PoTN for around 350 or 325, but they sell so damn fast. I'd post a WTB on FM, but I don't have a sub and don't want to buy one so I can buy a lens. :sad2:

if you have a local camera shop, go see if they have a promaster 17-50. it's a re-badged tamron 17-50.

I've heard about the Promaster, but supposedly it's only a few bucks less than the Tamron, if not the same price. I'll call up our camera shop here and see what they've got. IIRC, they're going out of business, so maybe they'll have some deals.

FM is the best and has the most effective feedback system. POTN is decent for Canon stuff.
