Best Firewall software + how to do image?

    Hello people of the computer and programming forum

    What is the best firewall software around at the moment, i am looking into buying a package?

    Also does anyone have any links on how to create an image of an windows installation as i have no clue where to start

    First, ghost is the shit as mentioned. There are three installations I keep:

    1) The image of the HD after all of the files have been copied from the CD and when the computer reboots to start the installation.
    2) As soon as it first boots up, I log off, make an image
    3) When I have everything installed.

    Number 1 is used to make any computer's installation that much easier
    Number 2 is when you know you want to start from scratch but on the same computer. I do it then rather than after patches and service packs because newer patches can be released between the image time and the time you want to use it. I'd rather have just one patch than two patches.
    Number 3 you basically need if you need to get your shit up and running ASAP. It's not clean, it's not as pure, but it gets the job done.

    panda is crap. Very simple.

    SP2 and a good router with Stateful Packet Inspection should be more than sufficient.

    if not then zonealarm is another good one

    as for image, norton ghost is good and really easy to use, incremental backups are really handy
