    1. This side of the Truth
    2. State of Play
    3. Inglorious Bastards
    4. Nine
    5. Brothers
    6. Shutter Island
    7. The Lovely Bones
    8. The Road
    9. Watchman
    10. Avatar

'The Informant' was originally on this list at number 5, but after seeing "Brothers", I truly believe this film should replace it. Any thoughts, or suggested changes that need to be made?

The Invention of Lying/This Side of the Truth was a fine premise that ended horribly.
State of Play, no problems with that one.
    Basterds, great film.
    Nine. Didn't watch- I don't like cartoons.
    Brothers, good movie.
Shutter Island, not seen yet. Keeps getting pushed back.
    The Lovely Bones, not seen.
The Road, not seen. Heard good things.
Watchmen, don't like comic books, not seen.
Avatar, may see it, but afraid of a let down, like Star Trek.

I will make my list later.

Nine is not a cartoon. You are thinking of the movie 9.

Is this thread just for you to brag about seeing movies that haven't released yet? If you Sent me copies of 50% of those movies, I'd be happy to let you know my thoughts and suggested changes.

#1 Stone Cold Nuts, Champion of Hollywood ---- > PANDORUM!!!

I'd like to say this was a close race to the top, but, alas, it was like the turtle and the hare. Why Pandorum you ask? In once sentence, because it's just fucking awesome. Think The Descent had sex with Event Horizon, and had a baby who got gang banged by Alien, Aliens, Aliens 3, and Sunshine, that is Pandorum. If you haven't seen it yet, well, you're an idiot.

#2 "Second place is no place, but hey, it's better than third" ---> Star Trek

You know, after seeing Cloverfire, I was like man this director guy is in serious shit, I seriously thought there was no way he would be able to top the Masterpiece that was Cloverfire, that movie was just fucking nutso awesome. And as a long time Trekkie, I was genuinely worried for the Star Trek Franchise after hearing that they were doing yet another movie, but changing the cast almost entirely, and bringing onboard a young hotshot director in JJ Abrams. I thought shit, here goes another franchise down the drain. BOY OH BOY was I wrong. Star Trek is a Trekkies ultimate sci-fi fantasy wet dream. There was literally absolutely nothing that could have been done to this movie to make it any better. It was absolutely perfect.

#3 Sequel to the #1 movie of 2008 -----> Twilight Saga: New Moon

C'mon honestly, even if you aren't a fan of the books, you gotta admit, New Moon was a phenomenal stand alone film. The best way to describe it, is it's like The Lost Boys of our generation, only more serious, with werewolves, and with a Romeo & Juliet type gripping love story.

#4 Belongs to the Greatest Horror Movie of all Time --> Paranormal Activity

Man oh man, what a psychological mind fuck of a movie. This movie was major intense, suspenseful, scary, and just an overall supernatural masterpiece. I guarantee you, it will be decades, if not longer, before we see another supernatural thriller that will come close to achieving the level of fright and horror that Paranormal Activity laid upon us.

    #5 The Hurt Locker

It's really hard for me to compare this movie with any other war movie, because it's just so different from everything else. I guess the best way for me to describe it is that it's a rip roaring, realistic, suspenseful, nail biting, tension filled, adventure through the mean streets of Iraq. Easily the best war movie since Saving Private Ryan

    Ma'am ;)

I'm ok with that fix, I loved Watchmen. I always enjoy people making their list and seeing whose taste is closest to mine. I also have a few movies though from this year that I've yet to see, but I figured I should stick to movies I have seen.

however, he's apparently a seasoned movie guru who has worked on many high end, high grossing films... so he knows what he's talking about.
