I bought some decent ear muffs awhile ago and I liked them but awhile ago a pin fell out of the side of them and got lost.

I have some cheap ones I've been using b/c someone left them at my house a long time ago but after I've been wearing them awhile, they start to hurt so I'm wanting to get some nice ones that won't break and also reduce sound a lot.

I'm not sure about the electronic ones that allow speach to be heard but blocks gun noises. How well do they work? How reliable are they? Not sure how they work...

Please post up what you like and what you know won't break easily.

if im shooting pistol, ill wear a pair of cheap yellow disposable plugs, and a pair of $8 silencio muffs from walmart..

for rifle, just the plugs.. muffs = bad cheek weld

I have 2 sets of muffs.

1 is the Peltor Ultimate 10. Comfortable and I cant hear shit when I wear them.

I mainly use my electronic one though. The Peltor Tactical 6-S. I can hear everything around me and am protected by loud sound. I can use them comfortably in indoor ranges with my handgun. If using a rifle indoors, i think i would double up with ear plugs.
