best diet for losing weight

    i lift and do a decent amount of cardio but am only losing about a lbs a week trying to lose about 30-40 lbs over the next two months, any suggestions?

    dont aim for more than 3lbs per week and even thats pushing it

    as for diet, just eat fewer calories; its not tha tricky

    3 lbs a week sustained would be very hard. over a long period of time 1lb per week is good. that's 52lbs per year, that's amazing progress if you can do it.

    ya i guess it depends on how much he wants to lose overall

    for me, im aiming for 20-25lbs lost between October 15th and Christmas and it shouldnt be that hard for that small a duration to lose 2.5 per week.

    pounds is a terrible way to look at weight too, this summer I lost 15 lbs of fat and gained 13lbs of muscle, so my weight barely changed at all but my body composition was so much better. I hope to be ~200lbs with 9% body fat by sping, that's my goal. Right now I'm like 210, 13%

    40lbs in 2 months? Meth binge, or eat whatever you want and cut a limb off week 7.

    Different strokes for different folks. Although, you might give the Velocity (liquid) diet a whirl if you're really looking to shed bodyweight.

    i have done it but wouldnt recommend it. i lost a lot of muscle taking off that much weight that quickly. skinny fat is almost worse than fat. what do you weigh right now and why are you trying to lose it that quickly?

    lower calorie intake, thats about all you can do if your already doing a lot of cardio.

    Not if thats the case. Unless he's 4'10".


    I'd recommend CKD/TKD or carb cycling. But then again, everybody has their favorite fat loss diet.

    i lost 2lbs since last week :eek5: i was discouraged because it didnt seem like a lot but I guess I wasn't been realistic.

    yeah US army infentry school they pay for everything they even pay for you to go their i lost 50 pounds in 14 weeks.
