I think it's about time to join a gym...been working out at home with just bodyweight and dumbbell exercises...I want to start up a body split routine within the next month or so.

I saw a thing on tv for Bally's...$18 down and $18 a month, not sure if there is one where I will be moving to though :hsd:

I paid $450 for the first 3 and $29 after that, no contract so I can cancel if I want (but for $2/mo, who really gives a shit?)

Don't sign up for a long term contract. Go month-to-month no matter what. Things change. Bally's will let you out of a long term deal, though, if you move more than a certain umber of miles away.

san francisco gyms surprisingly suck. it's one of the fittest cities in the nation, yet all i know of are a bunch of 24 hour fitnesses, a couple ballys, and a couple golds. i guess it's the rent.
