I was just putting away my laundry after reading the Civil War: X-Men book and thinking, "Man, that Frasier sure was a good fit to play Beast."

    Definetly, agreed. Hands down.

I also agree to this. Kelsey Grammar (Frasier) was fantastic for Beast in X-Men: The Last Stand.

On a random side note, I think Christian Bale did very well to play Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman Begins. I also think Liam Neeson was a really good villain, while his character Rhas Al Ghul (I forget entirely how it's spelled) wasn't based 100% off the comics, he was still good.

But that was such an obvious, no-brainer choice...I mean, any 12 year old who had ever read an X-Men comic and seen an episode of ST:TNG could have made that casting call...:o

I think everyone is forgetting two of the most notable, both of which will blow Afleck out of the water:

    Matt Salinger as Captain America
    [IMG]

    And...

    David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury...

He looked and acted nothing like the Joker. Only people who've never read a comic think he is the Joker.

he got the character down perfect... but I don't thinlk they'll ever be able to cast someone like alfred in the comics.
