I have an older 8800GT SC 512MB that runs COD:WAW pretty decent at 1920 x 1200. Graphics options are not maxed out though. most are medium settings as far as detail, etc.
Just wanted to see if anything out there would be a decent upgrade that I could get for around $200. All the 260GTX 55nm, 65nm, SC 3890, etc. terms are losing me. I have done no research in video cards since I got the 8800GT right when it was released.

I mainly play COD World at War but will end up getting Modern Warfare II (or whatever they call it) when it's released later this year. Guess I could wait and see what the specs are but any idea if something in my price range might do the job?

A GTX260 216 would be a decent upgrade or an ATI HD4870. Both should be around the $200 mark if not less.

do these new card run any cooler than my 8800GT? I don't know waht's going on buyt my 8800 gets hot during gaming. Was over 90 C during my COD game. It idles at 60 C and fan speed is 54%. It's not overclocked.
