what would be the best point and shoot digital camera for around $200 for all around use.
It helps to define what you want out of it - size, picture quality, shutter lag, etc.
dont care about the size, picture quality is a must, and I don't want any shutter lag!
One of the cameras that I was considering is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1S. Only 2 megapixels, but an awesome 10x optical zoom and great picture quality. If you're looking for something smaller and less expensive, maybe consider a Canon Powershot A75 or A80. I was looking for something small and fast, with good picture quality, and am getting a Konica-Milota Dimage G400. Those were just a few that I found recently, since I've been going a bit of shopping myself.
i think im gonna get a canon a75
I just got the canon a75 from beachcamera.com. I hope they come through and send me it
I got it for $202, best buy had it for $249 so yay.
I hope I made a good choice, imma try and get these batteries soon http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/rayovac_ic3.html
go to outpost.com under digital cameras, there is a special for the Canon A70 and Canon cp200 dye sublimation printer and rechargeable 200mah batteries all for 199. I use to sell that kit for 399 and though it was a decent deal
